The Cosmopolitan Tower is a 160 metre high building in the centre of Warsaw, 44 levels with 252 apartments.
Silent Gliss has equipped the apartments with high-quality motorised roller blind systems SG 4960 throughout. Design and functionality of these systems meet the unique demands of this one-of-a-kind skyscraper in the heart of Warsaw. They open the view to the city skyline while at the same time convey a cosy ambiance.
The selected fabric “Doubletex Light” was specifically developed for the Cosmopolitan Tower to fulfil several functionalities. On one hand the fabric is transparent to allow enjoyment of the breathtaking views of Warsaw, but at the same time it offers high privacy for the interior of the apartment. The dark external face of the fabric also ensures a uniform appearance of the entire Cosmopolitan Tower from the outside, a design objective by star architect Helmut Jahn.
